Time Trial | Bangkok to Kui Buri
With the announcement that Nok Air will start flying Bangkok to Hua Hin we at X2 thought we should explore all the travel options to get from Bangkok to X2 Kui Buri.
Fly – Best for Time Pressed Flying Enthusiasts
This week Nok Air has announced that they will start flying Don Mueang, Bangkok to Hua Hin three times a week, Thursday, Friday and Sunday evening. This new service, which only takes 30 minutes, launches on November 15th 2013 with seats available for only 1299฿. If you’re not a fan of small plans, then this might not be for you as the small the propeller powered aircraft seats only 34 passengers. After landing at Hua Hin airport its only one hour’s drive to X2 Kui Buri.
Transfer to Airport = 30 mins: Check-in = 45 mins: Flight = 30 mins: Transfer = 45 mins
Total 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Drive – Best for the Practicalist
By far the most popular and simplest option is to drive. A huge range of taxis, chauffeurs, mini vans, hotel transfers, and public buses are available to ferry guest from Bangkok to X2 Kui Buri. Prices vary from 4800฿ for X2 private chauffeur to 500฿ for VIP public buses, which mostly travel from Bangkok to Hua Hin. Convenient and scheduled around you, private chauffeurs are X2 guests most popular form of transport. Depending from where you depart and how many photo/food stops you take, driving to X2 Kui Buri takes around 3 hours.

Train – Best for Laid Back Sightseers
Finally, if you are not in a rush and looking to enjoy a scenic view of Thailand’s countryside then maybe consider traveling by train. Traveling by train provides a unique insight into some of Bangkok’s eclectic suburbs and into the countryside as you travel down the coast. Trains depart from Bangkok’s centrally located Hualamphong Station and fares vary from a budget third class 44฿ to 500฿ for air conditioned first class (price vary according to the season). The Special Express is timetable to take 4 ½ hours to Prachuap Khiri Khan station where it is only a 15 minute transfer to X2 Kui Buri, however trains are not recommend for clock watching, time conscious traveler as they have a habit of running late.
